The Tremendous St. of Bama...?

I am living in Columbus, GA currently, but looking to relocate to Alabama because it's closest to me, and looks like a tremendous state! So my ? is i am looking to move to be warmest city in AL, so would that be Mobile? because of the Gulf of Mexico. If you live/lived in Mobile what is the temp like in the winter? Thanks!
