Why do I care so much?

everybody i know, it seems, will all be attending the same college, well not everyone i know but alot of my friends, some from highschool some from middle school. im attending a different school in d.c, i live in bama, but i don't know why i want to go to this school so bad simply because my friends are going, majority of the middle school friends i haven't seen nore talked to in 4 years. i guess i don't want to lose contact with those im cool with now and i want to meet some old friends but why do i care so much? i keep thinking about changing schools, i have the same scholarship for both so
