For one we didn't invade Libya based on falsehoods and didn't invade period. Two, the Libyan people as a majority asked for our participation. Third, we had UN agreement and are not the lead in the action, finally. Fourth, once word got around in the media from the insider source that Qaddafi knew of the PanAm flight bombing and had stated otherwise, that was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, no pun intended. But as you can see, rationally there is a MAJOR difference between these conflicts. On the other hand, irrationally you come up with a questions such as yours.
