How to have white teeth? What toothbrush/toothpaste? (10pts)?

Okay so currently i'm brushing my teeth twice a day with now xyliwhite, their toothpaste contain baking soda but no fluoride. I'm using colgate toothbrush but i still have yellow teeth and my gums hurt and are redenning!!! i don't understand why!!
