Do appetite stimulants cause acne?

i'm taking an appetite stimulant that contains cyproheptadine and hydrochloride to gain a few extra pounds but i've been having the worst breakout ever in these days.i've always had mild acne however everything changed since may,but the breakout started before the pills so i don't know what to think,is there a conection? is there a chance the pills are making it worse?
